'Life's most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?" Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
LTB support and resource programs thrive on the generosity of our community through donations and grants. As a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we focus on empowering low-income families in Southern Nevada by providing vital resources and support. Your contribution can make a significant difference in these families' lives. We invite you to join us in our mission by making a one-time or recurring donation. Together, we can create a lasting impact. Thank you for considering this opportunity to support a worthy cause!
Our mission is to provide financial education and practical tools that promote long-term stability and self-sufficiency. In addition, through our Reflections of the Mind program, we offer safe, supportive recovery housing and connect people to the resources they need to rebuild their lives. Together, weβre helping men, women, and young adults stay on the path to recovery, strengthen family bonds, and create brighter futures.
Financial Literacy Education
While there may be many reasons why someone may be lacking in financial knowledge (whether you are rich or poor or low income), the point is it is never too late to start to learn and improve these skills. Find the best books, take a test, or learn about free counseling services.
30% of women become pregnant before the age of 20 according to the national campaign.org and 90% of welfare recipients are single mothers. My story begins with relating to these statistics. At 18 after graduating high school number 6 in my class, I found myself turning 19 and bringing a child into a world I knew nothing about. I had been accepted to Loyola University of New Orleans, the university of my dreams. However, I made the biggest decision of my life that would eventually send me down a separate path.
